If I had wings, I would fly like a bird.
I wish I could see what the world looks like from the sky.
I would fly faster than an airplane.
I used to fly from the top of the mountain, through trees,
and would have seen what is there.
I would have crossed the deep sea, traveled to different countries.
I would have spent the night in the trees with the birds.
They would have all been my friends and I would have really had a lot of fun.

I was very tired after playing so much in our school. On the way back home I was very tired, my legs were so sore that even taking a step was painful. I didn’t have enough money to go by bus or rickshaw. Suddenly a thought raised in my mind, how wonderful it would be if I could get wings!
Aha! What a wonderful thought it was! What if I had wings? It would have been easy to go from home to school and from school to home without any vehicle. Not only that, but I could travel wherever I wanted without spending a single penny. If I had wings, I would have visited all the famous places in the world.
First of all, I would have seen all the beautiful places in our own country, had fun there. No more worries about buying train, plane tickets or getting stuck in traffic jams.
